Of course the Earth survives. People who know what they're talking about never say it won't. Some species will die, but not all life. It's going to be the end of life AS WE KNOW IT because humans' life will deteriorate. Because of climate changes, there will be less drinkable water, less food, and less habitable space (that's impossible to deny, it's only logic). And with overpopulation on top of that, the quality of life will definitely deteriorate. The Earth will be crowded, with barely enough food and water for everyone. And, of course, rich people will find a way to keep their way of life (which is why most Americans don't care), making it even worse for everyone else.

How exactly is there going to be less water when melting icecaps adds more water into circulation?
